Today I found out about Issuu.com. No matter how big your computer screen is, reading PDFs is cumbersome. But with Issuu, you can upload that killer portfolio, book, photo collection — whatever — and have it display as an easy to navigate online publication. The results are an elegant “full screen” experience in which the pages flip via an animation. Very cool!
Even better, your publication becomes searchable and rateable within the Issuu commmunity.
I did a quick search on “Web Design” and found loads of books, many of which are at Barnes & Noble for over $25.
