Some street art in Fishtown on Frankford Avenue. There’s one across the street from the Rocket Cat and one a couple blocks north of it. Apparently it’s part of a series by Amber Lynn Of Project Gastric.

This is me performing at the Eckhaus Gallery in Kutztown a few weeks back. As fun as doing a one-man performance is, it’s definitely very boring to watch, especially triggering samples with Digidesign Transfuser. A great time nonetheless.

I’ll be performing at Eckhaus Gallery in Kutztown, PA this Saturday night, 4/25, opening for Gemini Wolf. Being a graduate of Kutztown University, I’m psyched to just be back in Kutztown and spend a day in the town that I used to love so much.

Just doing a Transfuser set, as I really haven’t had much time to work on any music.

Cochlea At Little Berlin Gallery

Below is some footage of "Cochlea", a large scale sound / construction installation, debuted this past First Friday at Little Berlin Gallery in Kensington. Created by Mikronesia and Mike Murray, this clip doesn’t do it justice at all. It’s an amazing interactive installation that will incite your curiosity. So, go check it out! Free and open to the public on Saturdays from Noon – 5:00 p.m.

Cochlea also included a performance by Pittsburgh’s Melissa St. Pierre who dazzled all with her prepared piano. Check out a clip below:

National Liberty Museum

Before watching the Eagles game at Buffalo Billiards this past Sunday, Melissa and I checked out the National Liberty Museum in Old City. On Sundays, you pay what you want to get in, so how could we resist that?

The National Liberty Museum is jam packed with over 200 interactive exhibits and works that celebrate American democracy. With four unique thematic floors, there is a lot to explore. The tribute to 9/11 is a very sobering and chilling section that will make you linger on the stairway to examine the names and faces of the fallen heroes. The "200 Americans Who Made A Difference" is quite an inspiring exhibit. There is a lot to be read with many of these exhibits, though, but luckily not many people were there during our stay.

Below is an image of "Jellybean People" by Sandy Skoglund, enforcing the idea that we’re all the same inside. With the click of a button, the viewer can activate all of the butterflies in the background to shake their wings. I should have taken video of this, as the photo doesn’t do it justice!
