Santucci

This page is devoted to Santucci, our beloved pet cat. He was named after Santucci’s Square Crust Pizza, Melissa’s favorite pizzeria in Philadelphia. But we rarely call him that. He’s usually referred to as “The Tooch”.

Tooch loves to hang out with us as we work away on our iMacs in the office, and since he’s an indoor cat, he’s got nowhere to go but sit on our shoulders and watch us point and click.

The Tooch Goes Outside!

We decided to let Tooch out in the backyard, just to give him a taste of the great outdoors. With a leash and collar, we made sure he didn’t get startled and run to Port Richmond. (He gets easily frightened is often seen running around the house after repeatedly getting scared by simple house noises.) Anyway, here is his reaction:

Tooch Inspects Before Christmas Party

We believe Tooch was an inspector of some sort in a previous life. He’s always investigating and examining every new obstacle he can get his nose to. Here he is before our Christmas / NYE party in 2009:
